1. Service Description

Off-Grid Scout provides an AI-powered Chrome extension and web API that evaluates UK land plots for off-grid living potential. Our service analyses publicly available data from government and scientific sources to generate property reports.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Off-Grid Scout for lawful purposes only. You may not:

  • Use the service to scrape or harvest data in bulk
  • Resell or redistribute our analysis data without permission
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
  • Use automated tools to access the service beyond the Chrome extension

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Free tier: 3 scans, no payment required
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until end of billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
  • Lifetime deals are one-time payments and are non-refundable after 14 days

4. Disclaimer

Off-Grid Scout is an informational tool, not professional advice. Our analysis is based on publicly available data and may not be 100% accurate or up to date. You should always:

  • Commission professional land surveys before purchasing property
  • Consult a planning consultant for development advice
  • Verify flood risk data with local authorities
  • Engage a solicitor for property transactions

We accept no liability for decisions made based on our analysis.

5. Intellectual Property

The Off-Grid Scout brand, code, and analysis algorithms are our intellectual property. Your scan results are your own data and you may use them freely.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Off-Grid Scout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
